Visão Espírita da Páscoa

O Espiritismo não tem dogmas, sacramentos, rituais ou liturgias, portanto não celebra a Páscoa, mas respeita as manifestações de religiosidade. A data simboliza a libertação do povo hebreu da escravidão sofrida durante séculos no Egito. No Cristianismo, celebra-se a ressurreição do Cristo, que se deu na Páscoa judaica do ano 33.

Embora sendo uma Doutrina Cristã, o Espiritismo entende de forma diferente alguns dos ensinamentos das Igrejas. Na questão da ressurreição, Jesus apareceu à Maria de Magdala e aos discípulos com seu corpo espiritual, o perispírito.

Entende-se que não houve uma ressurreição física, algo cientificamente impossível. Jesus não precisou derrogar as leis naturais do mundo para firmar o seu conceito de missionário. A sua doutrina de amor e perdão é maior que qualquer milagre.

Isto não invalida a Festa da Páscoa se encarada no seu simbolismo. A Páscoa Judaica pode ser interpretada como a nossa libertação da ignorância, das mazelas humanas, para o conhecimento, o comportamento ético-moral. Já a Páscoa Cristã representa a vitória da vida sobre a morte, do sacrifício pela verdade e pelo amor.

Aprendemos no Espiritismo que a vida só pode ser definida pelo amor, e o amor pela vida. Foi por isso que Jesus afirmou que veio ao mundo para que tivéssemos vida em abundância, isto é, plena de amor.

We learn in Spiritualism that life can only be defined by love, and love of life. That's why Jesus said he came to the world that we might have life in abundance, that is, full of love.
