Conhece-te a ti mesmo

Um dos direcionamentos que norteiam a maioria dos procedimentos de crescimento e desenvolvimento individual esta na célebre frase inscrita no portal do templo de Delfos, na antiga Grécia: conhece a ti mesmo. A grande maioria dos seres humanos não consegue conhecer e muito menos compreender a origem de seus pensamentos, como são elaboradas as imagens mentais, qual a natureza de seus sentimentos, emoções e reações. Com base nestas assertivas perguntamos: Sem conhecermos a natureza e origem do que somos, como viver a plenitude do que somos? Quem somos afinal? O que é auto-conhecimento? Ante essas interrogações, naturalmente nossa formação espírita, faz-nos recordar que somos uma alma, um Espírito que evolui ao longo dos processos reencarnatórios. Como uma bússola a nos indicar o caminho, tais questionamentos começam a nortear nosso processo de auto-conhecimento. No entanto precisamos conhecer a origem, a natureza do que somos como Espíritos. É universal o conhecimento de que o Espírito engloba qualidades e potenciais que necessitam ser conhecidos e, obviamente, despertados, a fim de se tornarem úteis na caminhada.
Isso nos induz a uma primeira reflexão: "Precisamos descobrir dentro de nós as qualidades e potenciais, despertá-las e colocá-las em ação".
Todavia também é universal a constatação de que na condição de Espíritos, em processo evolutivo, apresentamos e possuímos características psicológicas que não aceitamos ou que não são aceitas pelas pessoas que conosco convivem. Assim poderemos resumir nosso modelo de auto-conhecimento da personalidade em dois campos: o campo positivo, constituído pelas qualidades e potenciais, e o campo negativo, constituído por aquilo que não aceitamos. Nesse método de auto-conhecimento iremos nos concentrar no campo negativo, ou seja, nos potenciais, nas tendências, na índole que existe em cada um de nós, que não aceitamos, que não gostamos, que geralmente negamos e quase sempre reprimimos. Surgirá então a pergunta, de forma imediata: "Para que estudarmos e conhecermos a parcela inferior ou negativa da natureza espiritual, como Espírito que somos?" "Não seria mais proveitoso desenvolvermos cada vez mais a parcela positiva com a finalidade de que essa venha suplantar ou mesmo anular a parcela negativa?". Tais perguntas e questionamentos, muitas vezes induzidas por sistemas doutrinários, representam um procedimento ilusório, enganador, e, se partir de qualquer Espírito, seja encarnado ou desencarnado, traduzir-se-á em processo fraudulento. Devemos saber e compreender que negativo e positivo, inferior e superior somente existem na estrutura relativa de nosso pensamento racional. Somos um princípio espiritual individualizado e trazemos em nós experiências decorrentes dos processos reencarnatórios ao longo dos milênios, desde "quando a vida era apenas vaga esperança bailando no ar, quase à flor dos mares" (Rubens C. Romanelli – Palavras à Fonte). O pensamento é um atributo do Espírito imortal, bem como as imagens mentais que projetamos. Pensamentos e projeções mentais possuem vibração, têm peso específico. São materializações do fluído cósmico universal, hoje catalogado pela ciência como energia cósmica. Como essas afirmações podem nos proporcionar conclusões práticas para o nosso auto-conhecimento? Podemos dizer que: "A energia cósmica que move toda ação é sempre a mesma". Entendemos então que o que deve mudar é a direção e/ou o sentido do movimento dessa energia, uma vez que toda ação é um movimento de energia. Tais afirmações são muito importantes e devem merecer nossa reflexão, nossa meditação.
No entanto o simples descobrimento de como proceder no auto-conhecimento não resolve o problema, uma vez que continuamos com os dois campos em nossa natureza espiritual, o campo positivo e o campo negativo. Porém com a reflexão nos conceitos expostos, já teremos uma compreensão razoável desses dois campos, conscientes de que ambos são originários do mesmo ser, o espírito, e a constituição dos pensamentos e imagens da mesma energia cósmica. Concluímos então que: "O processo do auto-descobrimento nos leva à conscientização de que devemos redirecionar a energia que constitui nossos pensamentos e nossas imagens mentais". Como fazê-lo? A energia somente gera resultado quando flui, sendo importante o seu direcionamento. Devemos conhecer então qual o sentido, qual a direção de nossos pensamentos e imagens mentais. Se para o campo positivo, se para o campo negativo? Para responder devemos saber o que representa a VERDADE para cada um de nós. Não chegaremos a essa Verdade, negando, reprimindo ou rejeitando nossas tendências, nossa índole, nossa natureza espiritual em evolução.
Não é negando, por exemplo, que temos ciúmes, que somos sovinas, que somos invejosos, que somos prepotentes, que vamos nos conhecer, que vamos nos desenvolver. Conscientizemo-nos de que as máscaras, as auto-imagens, o falso puritanismo, apontar defeitos alheios para esconder os nossos, nada mais são que mecanismos que nos impedem de reconhecer a nós mesmos impedindo-nos de identificar os fluxos de nossa energia, freando, destarte, nossa evolução. Como espíritas estamos em contato com uma doutrina cujo objetivo é iluminar a consciência humana, auxiliando-a a caminhar. Isso não nos torna mais perfeitos e se a isso nos induzisse viveríamos em um mundo de fantasias. No entanto nos torna mais responsáveis em todos os ângulos da vida.
A Doutrina Espírita, não sendo uma ilha da fantasia, é um laboratório para nossa transformação e conseqüentemente para a transformação da humanidade. Ela não está no plano das ilusões, mas sim no plano das realizações. O Espiritismo não requer a negação dos campos que formam nossa natureza espiritual. Igualmente não induz a um falso padrão de comportamento que não corresponda à consciência, à verdade íntima de cada ser. O ser humano, Espírito encarnado, não tem modelos, fôrmas, não tem padrão, pois se vestirmos a máscara, o modelo de um ídolo, ou de qualquer forma estereotipada seria uma forma de repressão, pois equivaleria a reprimir ou negar as características de nossa natureza espiritual que não correspondem ao modelo. Este é o portal para o fanatismo. Psicologicamente falando seria um conflito entre o que somos e o estereótipo que pensamos ser. Devemos nos acautelar para quaisquer sistemas que nos sejam propostos. Devemos perguntar se ele corresponde à nossa consciência, à nossa verdade interior. Não nos deve interessar o sábio, encarnado ou desencarnado, que o tenha proposto. Acautelar daqueles que com determinados sistemas, queiram reduzir a humanidade a um rebanho que pensa e age de forma padronizada, de forma uniformizada, de forma unificada, porque buscam substituir o pensamento, a busca da verdade, o conhece-te a ti mesmo, por pseudo-verdades estereotipadas, sob o manto de verdades ditas reveladas, inspiradas, etc. Buscam eliminar do Espírito humano uma de suas aspirações de liberdade, substituindo-a pelo dístico NÃO PENSAR POR SI MESMO.
Sentimos essa influência no movimento espírita brasileiro, onde na atualidade as diretrizes de conduta, comportamento, conhecimento, discussões, chegam ao espírita comum, prontas, vindas de cima, do alto, sem contestação, induzindo-o a um comportamento religiosista, falso, e a estereotipar ídolos que não correspondem ao que realmente é. O movimento espírita, em vista destes aspectos comportamentais vive em um mundo de fantasias. Tirou-se do iniciante à doutrina o interesse à pesquisa, ao estudo, à discussão, ao descobrimento de si mesmo, únicas formas de caminharem para o entendimento, a tolerância, a solidariedade, ao conhecimento de si mesmos. Urge que cada um de nós, modifique seu comportamento mental.
Lembremo-nos sempre que não importa quem diz o que. Importa mais o que é dito, por quem quer que o diga.
Você é quem vai decidir se o que é dito é verdadeiro ou falso. Não é quem o diz, mas você com o seu discernimento.
